Hello my darling Kalina. Well, its the 11th July 2007 and today is your birthday. WOW! Can't believe that you are 12 years old today. I am so proud of you and so glad I am your father. I wish you the happiest of days filled with love, joy and of course lots of goodies and presents. I've been thinking of what I could possible get for you for your birthday and what I would have loved to do is send you a pre-paid mobile phone so that we could talk on various occassions. That would mean so much for me....in the mean time, I send you my thoughts and feelings on many occassions and hope that you receive them. Here is a photo of me, Veronika and Elena who are part of a band that I formed called Stomna, and we won the national competition for the World Music Event in the McDonalds Performing Arts Challenge. Hello My Darling....Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Hello my darling girl. Sorry its been a while since I've written, I've been performing in Queensland at the Woodford Folk Festival. There isn't very good access there for internet or phone, so couldn't send you any Christmas or New Years wishes so here they are. I wish you all the very best for 2007 and you should know that my thoughts and prayers remain with you each day. I know that you will do very well in School as you always do and you will make me a proud dad. I wonder what activities you are doing now, the last time we spoke you were in the school choir and were looking at doing some dancing. Remember when I showed you that dance routine and you were going to show your friends because you had a performance to do at school? Boy we had such a laugh doing the routine together. I'll get some photos of the Woodford Festival for you to see and hopefully some of me performing as well so you understand where I have been performing for the past couple years. Photo taken when we went to Taronga Park Zoo with Natalie and Alex from Maso Dancing. I still teach them and Natalie asks about you all the time. You two formed quite a special bond which was always rekindled every time you came to Sydney.

Hey what a good day this was....remember Theo (that means uncle in Greek and thats what you called Michael my brother) put on a crazy indian hat with feathers and decorated the room with streamers and balloons. We played party games and had a really great time.

My First Phone Call to you 7th November 2006

After some lengthy court hearings, an interim court order was granted giving me permission to contact you by phone, mail and email. I don't know your email address but all is OK...there are other methods. I know that when I call you you will not want to pick up the phone.

I make my phone call. You answer. You do not even utter a word to me. You simply hang up. I immediately phone back. There is no answer. The phone rings out and my heart sinks into my stomach. This is painful for me as I'm sure it is for you too. I pray for your safety and well being.

Phone Call to you 21st November 2006

This is my second phone call to you as per the interim court order. You answered the phone. "Hey Kalina how are you?" You hang up. I know in my mind that it is not your doing nor your will....the pain however squeezes my heart. The lump in my throat gets bigger. "Is it all worth it", I think to myself....there must be another way.

My First Entry

You may not be aware but I began court proceedings to see you. Your mother has not allowed me to see you now for almost 2 years and I fear that she may have begun brain washing you into believing that I don't love you or care for you in any way. Be it known that its not true....there hasn't been a day in the past 2 years that I haven't thought about you or felt your feelings in my heart. I understand what you are going through and what you must do in order for you to maintain some sort of peace within yourself. After all, I also lived with them and know they are full of mind games, evil intent and trickery. You must be strong Kalina and be smarter than them. Trick them in believing that you are at one with their doings...for the time will come that they will pay dearly. My heart at times feels heavy and burdened. I feel a guilt for having moved to Sydney with you still being in Adelaide left to your own defences. If I had not moved, I fear I may not be here today telling you how I feel about you. I hold back my tears Kalina as it hurts me not to see or hear you. I have tried to turn off the switch but how do you control your deepest emotions for the love of your daughter. As I wipe the tears from my face I ask for forgiveness for the repent of your mother and grandmother. May God have mercy on their soul and may they be enlightened by the kindred spirit.
